Love your version of this 40s tune. I’m curious to know why it sounds so different than many familiar songs. Is it the key that it is played in, or the chord choices, or the chord progression that makes it sound so exotic? I realize that you are using more advanced jazz chords, but this song just has such an intoxicating sound to it.

Also, I wish that you would post more videos like this one. You playing and singing that lovely Chuck Moore ukulele without tutorial. Just simple performance videos with high quality audio and video.

It has a strange chord pattern that goes from C to C# and back in the key of C. Goes to show that “wrong” notes aren’t so wrong.
