My name is Brad Bordessa. I live in Honokaʻa, Hawaiʻi. I’ve been playing ʻukulele for 20 years and running Live ʻUkulele since 2007!

In this fast paced era of the internet, I want to help make people feel comfortable with learning the ʻukulele at their own pace and find joy in the discipline. You don’t have to practice eight hours a day to have fun! (But you can if you want!)

Hi, everyone!
I don’t know why, but I bought a Ukelele at Remenyi in Toronto on the 22nd of December 2009. I think I bought it for myself for Christmas.
There were Ukelele classes at CAMMAC camp in Quebec ( cammac.ca )
and I had fun with them. I have given up the classical guitar, and am going to have a real go at learning the Uke.
Cheers!

I am in my 70’s and took up the Ukulele over 4 years ago. I did play some classical music on a wide neck classical guitar before that. I gave that up to focus on the Uke and singing. I am commenting on your journey to the Uke as I have had a similar experience. I love the intimate sound of the Uke.

I use Brad’s resources and have supported his work for several years. I am a bit of a self learner and Brad’s online resources work for me.

Hello Pat,
Welcome to the forum. Hope that you find encouragement along with all the helpful resources that Brad has to offer.

Kia ora and hello from Aotearoa New Zealand. I’m new here and just wanted to say hi. I have been mucking around with ukulele for a couple of years and discovered Brad’s resources, so here I am and hope to improve my playing. Thanks Brad for creating this amazing site. Hi again, everyone
